Our Story

My name is Armen, and I'm based in London, UK. I founded the Cypriot by Descent LTD consultancy after successfully navigating the process of obtaining my own Cypriot citizenship by descent in 2018. I'm of Armenian-Cypriot origin, and my grandparents came to England in the 1960s.

Back then, there was almost no guidance available. I was repeatedly told I wasn't eligible, and the only option seemed to be paying steep legal fees. I was frustrated by the lack of alternatives, so I took matters into my own hands.

Over the course of a year, I researched Cypriot nationality law, British colonial law, visited government offices, hunted down missing documents, filled out forms, and learned the process inside out. In the end, my application was successful... and I became fluent in bureaucracy.
